Vinnie Tan was raised in Malaysia and received her education in Malaysia and England.

Ms. Tan spent 4 years with KPMG Malaysia in Assurance Department as an auditor, which took her to many industries and companies within Malaysia.

Ms. Tan then joined UCB Asia Pacific (now known as Cytec Surface Specialties) as a business analyst. Her key role was to help the Business Directors by providing insightful analytical findings and data for business decision-making and for strategic acquisition purposes. She was involved directly in negotiations with potential business candidates. Ms. Tan’s experience also includes implementation of business and financial models, processes, systems and key management tools.

Ms. Tan is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and Malaysian Institute of Accountant (MIA). She holds a professional qualification of the ACCA and a Bachelor of Art (Honours) in Accounting and Finance.
