Samuel Ong

Finance Director

Samuel Ong was raised in Brazil and educated in Brazil and the United States.

Prior to joining Navis, Mr. Ong was with JT International/RJ Reynolds for 19 years, of which the last 5 years in Malaysia where he held the positions of CFO and General Manager for its Asian Shared Service Center. Prior to that, he held various positions in Brazil, UK, USA, Russia and Switzerland at the corporate, regional and local level, covering various finance disciplines. His Asian experience, besides Malaysia, covers Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan. Prior to JTI, he has worked for other consumer goods companies such as Castrol and Gillette in Brazil and USA in various finance capacities. Mr. Ong brings to Navis an excellent combination of operational and strategic experience.

Mr. Ong holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Brazil and a MBA in Finance from Michigan State University, USA.
