Jonathan Gartner

Chief Administrative Officer

Mr. Gartner is a Partner of Navis, Chief Administrative Officer and an Investment Committee member.

Mr. Gartner joined Navis in 2008 where he is responsible for day to day operations and all non-investment activities of the firm including human resources, information technology, investor relations, property as well as oversight over the Legal and Finance areas.

Immediately prior to joining Navis, Mr. Gartner held the role of Chief Operating Officer of Global Markets with ABN AMRO Bank, based in Hong Kong. Prior to his Asia role, he worked for ABN AMRO based sequentially in Chicago, Prague and Amsterdam. Earlier, Mr. Gartner worked for Drexel Burnham Lambert, First National Bank of Chicago, and US Congressman A.F. Hawkins.

Mr. Gartner was raised and educated in the United States and has been resident in Asia since 2005. Mr. Gartner holds a BA from Hamilton College and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
